Our Story and Transition
BANGLALEADS is a youth-led organization built on a deep commitment to environmental and climate action in Bangladesh. Our journey began in 2017 under the name Stark Bangladesh, where we focused on driving crucial climate education initiatives. On September 5, 2024, we officially rebranded as BANGLALEADS. This strategic name change was made to better reflect our commitment to expanding our mission, enhancing our impact, and aligning our initiatives with the evolving needs of youth empowerment, education, and sustainable development.Â

Our Process
01.
Enagage
This is the starting point: we invite young people to Engage with our mission and the critical issues surrounding climate, education, and sustainability. You join the conversation, attend initial workshops, and connect with peers who share a passion for making a difference.
02.
Empower
Once engaged, we Empower you with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to act effectively. This includes specialized training on strategic communication, policy basics, and the principles of our L.E.A.D.S. framework, giving you the confidence to contribute meaningfully.
03.
Oppurtunity
We open the door to Opportunity by connecting your unique skills and interests to our projects. Whether it’s climate journalism, curriculum development for the “Aware With Us” module, or grassroots advocacy, we help you find the specific area where you can excel and apply your new knowledge.
04.
Develop Ideas
This step is all about innovation: you are encouraged to Develop Ideas for different things, from new program models to policy campaigns. You move beyond simple execution to brainstorming and designing concrete, viable solutions aligned with our strategic goals.
05.
Responsibility
It’s not enough to build ideas; the fifth step emphasizes Responsibility to take action. You transition from the planning stage to leading the implementation of your developed projects, taking ownership of targets, execution timelines, and achieving tangible results on the ground.
06.
Deliver with Roles
The final stage is integration, offering an Organizational Role as an intern, committee member, or other core capacity. This means you officially join our structure, contribute to decision-making, and ensure the long-term sustainability and governance of BANGLALEADS.
